Krishna Ajvalia - Aeronautics
A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Krishna Ajvalia earned his Bachelor’s with honors in Aeronautical Science with a minor in air traffic control and dispatch.
Supplementing his Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science, Krishna Ajvalia also earned his Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, a Class 1 Medical Certificate, and an FCC Radio Operator’s license.
While completing his studies at Embry-Riddle, Krishna Ajvalia participated in several internships and temporary jobs at Teterboro Airport, New Jersey that provided him with hands-on aeronautical experience outside the classroom. In1988, Krishna Ajvalia served in his first role as a Noise Abatement Intern. Krishna Ajvalia worked with noise monitoring systems designed to comply with local noise restrictions, compiling and analyzing data from these systems. Besides these duties, Krishna Ajvalia worked with airport personnel to craft new procedures and adjust aircraft routes. In May 1999, Krishna Ajvalia earned a dispatch internship, which lasted until September. He served another dispatch internship the following summer, overseeing flight patterns with the aim of expediting completion while maintaining the necessary levels of safety. In addition to these duties, Krishna Ajvalia was responsible for maintaining flight movement logs and monitoring flight crews, aircraft flight schedules, and weather conditions.
Krishna Ajvalia acted as a Fuel Truck Operator at ATP Jet Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, from September of 1999 through April 2000. His work entailed refueling C172, PA28, PA44, and M20J ERAU aircraft. In his next role, Krishna Ajvalia’s functioned at Air Fleet Training Systems in Teterboro, New Jersey, from 2002 to 2004. Krishna Ajvalia assisted students in developing teamwork skills in the Jet Center's training environment, managing Part 61 and Part 141 student records.
